Add your own domain to a funnel
Show a funnel on offer.yourdomain.com with two DNS records.
What it is for
Present your pages under your own address rather than Funnelix Market’s.
Prerequisites and plan
A domain name of your own, a funnel and a domain limit that has not been reached (Free: 1; Starter: 3; Webinar: 10).
Steps
- Open “Settings”, tab “Domains”.
- Enter the “Domain name” (for example
offre.mondomaine.com) and choose the “Funnel to display”, then click “Add”. - At your registrar, open DNS management.
- Add the TXT record: name
_fluxia.offre.mondomaine.com, valuefluxia-verify=…(shown in Funnelix Market). - Add the CNAME record: name
offre.mondomaine.com, value given by Funnelix Market (or an A record for a domain without a subdomain). - Return to Funnelix Market and click “Verify”.
Expected result
The status changes from “Awaiting verification” to “Active”. The funnel’s page then appears on your address, over HTTPS.
Tips
- DNS propagation can take from a few minutes to a few hours.
- The HTTPS certificate is issued automatically by the hosting once DNS is in place.
- Only the funnel’s public pages are served on your domain; management stays on Funnelix Market’s address.
Common problems
“Invalid domain name. Example: offer.yourdomain.com”
Write a name without http:// or a path.
“This name belongs to Funnelix Market: choose a domain of your own.”
Use a domain you own.
“This domain is already in use.”
Another account has already added it.
“Limit reached: N domain(s) with your plan.”
Remove a domain or move to a higher plan.
“TXT record not found (_fluxia…)”
The TXT is not published yet or is mistyped (exact name and value). Wait for propagation.
“The name does not point to … yet”
The CNAME (or A) is missing or incorrect.
