Sending limits and slow campaigns

Daily cap, batches, scheduled task: why a campaign takes several days.

What it is for

Explain why not all contacts receive the email on the same day.

A campaign that is “Sending”.

Funnelix Market sends campaign emails in batches of 200 at most.
The cap is 300 emails per day per account (server setting campaign_daily_cap); 300 SMS per day for SMS campaigns (sms_daily_cap).
The rest goes out on the following days, automatically, through the scheduled task cron.php (every 10 minutes) or on the first visit of the day.
When all reachable contacts have received the message, the campaign switches to “Sent”.

The “sent” counter climbs up to the size of the segment.

A contact who unsubscribes during sending is no longer reached.
Receipt emails, webinar reminders and gift deliveries do not count toward the campaign cap.

The campaign stays “Sending” for several days

Normal if the segment exceeds the daily cap. Otherwise, the server’s scheduled task has stopped.

Nothing goes out at all

Account disabled, or scheduled task missing.
